Christmas window displays at Paris’ world-famous department stores
As the Christmas holidays approach, Parisian department stores unveil their 2019 Christmas window displays, a highly anticipated moment on the Paris calendar. Head to Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Bon Marché and BHV for a must-see Christmas stroll that is a delight for the whole family. With fantastical moving displays and new decorations each year, the windows never disappoint in sparking a certain Christmas magic!
Alice and the Enchanted Carousel at Chantilly
A Christmas Equestrian Show all the family will enjoy.
At the Château of Chantilly, on the 13-metre ring beneath the majestic dome of the Great Stables, come and discover the new magical show “Alice and the Enchanted Carousel” combining equestrian prowess, acrobatics, humour and fantasy!

Illuminated Ocean at the Jardin des Plantes
This exhibition will take visitors on a magical and illuminating nighttime odyssey in the heart of the Jardin des Plantes and give them an opportunity to meet the creatures living in our oceans.
Come and dive into the vastness of the seas, discovering majestic, fascinating and sometimes surprising life forms with 50 monumental light structures, some up to 10 metres high or 30 metres long, echoing the exhibition Ocean: Diving into the Unknown currently on display at the Gallery of Evolution.

The King’s Tour at Versailles
As night falls and the day’s visitors leave, the Palace becomes silent again. Musicians, dancers, singers, fencers, pyrotechnicians and actors get ready to welcome you beneath the golden ceilings of the Hall of Mirrors and Grand Apartments for an unforgettable visit. Young and old alike will delight in this unique experience celebrating the holiday season like never before at the Palace of Versailles.

Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Le Bourget
The Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The museum ended its year on a high with the completion of work on the Grande Galerie, which had been undergoing renovation for the last five years.
There will be new exhibitions and special activities to celebrate this reopening such as guided tours, talks, treasure hunts, Kapla workshops and many more surprises for the whole family!
65 conservators have restored more than 210 objects including 83 works of art and toys, 34 paintings, and 21 outfits and flight accessories.
From 1 October to 31 March, the museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
