Many thanks to Eiman Al-Khawari for organising this event, designed to "share a
sensitive experience of beauty."

On Monday 12th of June, participants in the BEF workshops (oil painting, porcelain,
silk and sewing) presented some sixty works in the garden of the Qatari embassy.

Storage trays, vases, presentation plates, paintings, painted silk pieces, a scarf... all
gathered around an astonishing and sculptural bouquet of paper peonies, revealing
different forms of expression and fresh perspectives. These delighted and raised
questions for the artists and their friends who were thrilled to be invited. A joyful
event indeed, to the music of the quanun.
